Spicy beef stir fry with noodles
Ingredients
- 2 Pak Choi coarsely cut
- 1 Big red pepper thick slices
- 2 Carrot finely slices
- 1 Big onion coarsely cut
- 3 Tbsps. of thick sweet soy sauce
- 1 Tbsps. Sambal oelek
- Black pepper and salt
- 1 Pound of meat cut into 1/4 inch thick strips
- 2 cloves of garlic, very thinly sliced
- 2 Spring onions finely chop
- 2 Tbsp. oil of your choice
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine
- 300 Grams pine egg noodle
Directions
- Bring a large pot of water and bring to boil. Cook noodles for 2-3 minutes
- Rinse and drain under cold water and set aside
- Heat 1 tbsp. oil in the pan on high heat
- Stir fry the beef for 1 to 2 minutes accordingly until they are a bit brown but a little juicy inside
- Wipe the pan clean. Then heat another 1 tbsp. of oil over medium heat
- Add in the onion, garlic and fry for 20 seconds and then add in the carrots and continue to stir fry for a minute.
- Add in the remaining vegetables and stir fry
- When the vegetables are tender, turn heat on high and add the meat
- Mix the soy sauce, rice wine and sambal oelek well and add to the meat and vegetables
- Add salt and pepper for taste
- Mix the noodles in the stir fry and enjoy
